Improved Watercolor Tattoo Stencil Support

The Tattoo Stencil Generator now handles watercolor-style designs more accurately, with cleaner stencil results and downloadable color stencil options.

We’ve improved the Tattoo Stencil Generator to better support watercolor-style tattoo designs.

Watercolor tattoos often include soft color washes, gradients, splashes, and flowing background color that are important for the final tattoo placement. The stencil generator now does a better job recognizing those intentional color areas and turning them into useful stencil guidance instead of ignoring them completely.

This update is especially helpful for tattoo artists and clients working with designs that include watercolor effects, soft color placement, cosmic backgrounds, painterly splashes, or blended color accents.

As a reminder, the stencil generator also lets you choose different stencil color options before downloading. You can preview and download stencil versions in colors like black, red, blue, purple, and green, depending on what works best for your stencil paper, workflow, or reference needs.

The goal is to make the stencil output more practical, more readable, and more useful for real tattoo prep — especially when the original artwork includes both linework and color-based design elements.
